There is a fault in the program on the auto cruise control unit, and therefore, during automatic braking is engaged by the ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control, which is a constant speed driving/inter-vehicular distance controlling device), either if the driver performs a braking operation or if the CMBS (collision mitigation brake system) engages, the cruise control program will not detect the end of these braking operations. As a result, the brake lights will keep illuminating until the vehicle stops.

On certain vehicles, the joint (quick joint) between the fuel tank and the breather hose is not properly fitted, and therefore the seal (O-ring) of the quick joint may not closely adhere to the joint pipe. In this case, the seal may allow fuel to leak when the fuel tank is full.

The torque of the bolts securing the power steering gearbox onto the sub-frame is not sufficient, and therefore, repeated dry steering may cause the bolts to loosen. If this problem is left unattended, the bolts may break, which could make steering imprecise.

For vehicles with pop-up roofs, the cover located on the front of the pop-up roof can gradually come off due to the improper method of bonding. At worst, the cover could be detached from the vehicle body, which may impede other traffic.
