The rainwater can remain inside the distributor, and if the vehicle continues to be driven in such a condition, at worst the ignition system may fail, in which case the engine could stop and will not restart.

On certain vehicles, the high pressure hose of the air conditioning system is not properly installed, and therefore, the caulking part of the hose and the rear harness can interfere with each other. Vehicle body vibration etc. may cause the harness sheath to rupture, and in the worst case a short circuit could occur in the wiring, which could be fire damaged.

The contact points on the fuel pump for the carburetor type engine may be worn down, and in the worst case the pump could stop working causing the engine to stall.

For vehicles with manual transmission, the speedometer gear may be worn out mainly because it is made of inappropriate material, and in the worst case the speedometer could fail to function.

On certain 4WD vehicles with 3-speed automatic transmission, the bearing inside the auxiliary automatic transmission may be damaged due to lack of lubrication. If the vehicle continues to be driven with the damaged bearing, in the worst case it could stall.
