For the continuous variable transmission, the axis of the oil pump motor does not have sufficient strength. If left unfixed, the motor axis may break, causing the vehicle to stall. Also, excessive stress can be put on the serrated sections of the oil pump and the oil pump motor, because they are assembled at a wrong angle, and also because the program to control the torque of the motor is inadequate. If left unfixed, at worst, the serrated sections can wear causing the oil pump to stop, in which case the vehicle will stall.
