For the link mechanisms that secure the stabilizer onto the vehicle body, the size of the bushes may not be appropriate, and therefore, the sections around them may not move smoothly enough when the suspension system moves up and down. If this problem is left unattended, too much stress is placed on the link mechanisms, and in the worst case, two of them could break, which would cause the stabilizer to fall off.

For fire engines, the terminal insulation caps of the engine block heater (an electric heater that heats the engine to ease starting in cold weather) do not have sufficient heat resistance, and therefore, they may deteriorate in condition, when the heater is repeatedly used at length for a long period of time. If the insulation capability is reduced and a snow-melting agent etc. seeps into the terminals, corrosion may occur. If this problem is left unattended, the contact resistance may increase and the terminals may generate some heat.
