For vehicles with petrol engine, the fuel tank top and the baffle plate inside the tank are not welded on appropriate spots, and therefore, the fluctuation of the pressure inside the tank due to the fuel temperature change can cause excessive stress on the welded spots. If this problem is left unattended, in the worst case, the welded part could crack causing fuel to leak.
