The oil seal and the O-ring of the chain transfer do not have sufficient heat resistance, and they can be damaged from heat when the temperature of transfer oil rises during sustained high speed driving, allowing the oil to leak into the transfer. If this occurs, the oil temperature may rise further as agitation resistance from the oil against the chain increases, and the oil could gush out from the breather, which could in the worst case result in a fire.
