On certain vehicles, there may not be sufficient clearance between the air brake tubes made of nylon and the heat shield. If this problem is left unattended, the tubes may melt due to heat, and at worst, there would not be enough air pressure for the brake system, in which case the emergency brake would be triggered.

Correction: 
The brake tubes should be inspected, and if they have been affected by the heat, they should be replaced with the factory approved replacement units, otherwise, they should be shortened to the appropriate length and secured with the additional bracket.
