The aluminum air brake tank may crack on the surface due to improper heat processing. If this problem is left unattended, the cracks may progress and eventually reach to the inside, allowing the compressed air to leak, and in the worst case, braking efficiency would be reduced.

Correction: 
The aluminum air tank should be checked, and if it consists of two parts (as shown on the bottom left diagram), it should be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit.
