On certain vehicles, the front coil springs were not properly cleaned before painting at factory, and therefore, they may rust after the paint peels off, if the vehicle is driven for a long time in a corrosion prone environment, such as on a road which anti-freezing agent is used on. If this problem is left unattended, the rust may get worse and the coil springs might break, which in the worst case could cause the vehicle to stall.
