The way the passenger airbag is folded is not appropriate, and therefore, the airbag may not unfold fully when activated, due to contact resistance between the airbag and the airbag case wall. If this occurs, the internal pressure of the airbag may rise, and in the worst case, the airbag could be torn from seams and would not fully serve the purpose of protecting the passenger.
