On certain vehicles, the electrical wiring of the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system may be insufficiently long and too tight near the connector, and stress may be exerted on that portion of the wiring due to engine vibration etc. If this problem is left unattended, wire breakage may occur, and in the worst case, the EGR valve could malfunction, in which case the emission level could exceed the safety standards.

Correction: 
The electrical wiring should be checked, and if the routing is not done correctly, additional wiring for extension should be installed and the routing should be changed. In addition, the wiring should be checked for damage, and any damaged wiring should be repaired.
