For the steering locks of vehicles with intelligent key, the rod of the key cylinder may be longer than desired, due to insufficient instructions for manufacturing. Operating the steering wheel, even when the ignition knob is at 'OFF' position and the shift lever is in the 'P' range, may activate the steering lock with such a long rod.

Correction:
Whether the steering lock properly functions should be checked, and if the lock is activated while the ignition knob is at 'OFF' position, the key cylinder should be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit. Incidentally, it is likely to take some time to supply the factory approved replacement units, so for the time being, the users whose vehicles need the replacement units should be warned not to turn the ignition to 'OFF' position while driving.
