For certain front seat belts, the seat belt guide bolt may be secured with the nut whose pitch does not match the bolt's threads. Such bolts may come off the vehicle body when an extreme load, such as in a collision, is placed on the seat belts, in which case the seat belts may fail to restrain the occupants.
