For the cruise control release switch, which is secured on the brake master cylinder, the sealing inside is inadequate, and therefore, the brake fluid may leak and damage the electrical terminals. If the terminal contact points corrode, the switch resistance may rise and the switch may melt, which, in the worst case, could lead to a fire. Note: The same problem was reported as RF-1346-0 on 26th October 2006, and this RF-1433-0 is to list additional vehicles to be recalled.
