The vanes of the power steering pump were not adequately hardened in the manufacturing process, and therefore, they may wear and the worn particles may be stuck inside the pump or the oil tank. If this problem is left unattended, the oil flow from the pump might decrease, which could cause heavier steering.

On certain vehicles, there may be foreign material inside the vacuum tube for the vacuum brake booster due to improper manufacturing process, and it can get into the check valve. If the vehicle continues to be driven with the material in the check valve, the valve can malfunction, and in the worst case, this could result in reduced braking efficiency.

For vehicles with VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist), there is a glitch in the computer program that controls air/fuel ratio, and as a result, the air/fuel ratio control does not work when stepping on the accelerator pedal, and the exhaust emissions exceed the specified limits.
