For the front passenger's airbag of certain vehicles, there may not be sufficient amount of a gas generating propellant in the inflator, due to improper loading of the propellant, and therefore, the propellant may become powdery from the vibrations of the vehicle. If the airbag is deployed with an affected propellant, the internal pressure may rise excessively and cause the inflator housing to rupture. If this occurs, the component fragments may fly out and cause injury to the vehicle occupants.

The terminal of the engine side wiring harness of certain vehicles may have been deformed at the time of inspecting the engine at factory. If this problem is left unattended, an electrical contact failure may occur, and in the worst case, the vehicle could stall and fail to restart.

For the middle steering shaft, the pinion shaft may not be inserted sufficiently deep, so not be properly secured. In that case, the pinion shaft may gradually slip out, which at worst could make steering impossible.

There is a glitch in the program of the computer to control the engine, and therefore, the warning light will not illuminate even if the rear oxygen sensor that secondarily controls air/fuel ratio breaks. Also, the warning light will not illuminate if the elements of the rear oxygen sensor are damaged, which can happen due to the effect of the ignition noise from the ignition coil. If the vehicle continues to be driven in these conditions, the secondary controls of air/fuel ratio may not work properly, causing the emissions to exceed the regulatory standards.
