On certain vehicles, the resin molding of the vent pipe connected to the charcoal canister where gas tank fuel vapors are trapped is improper, and the pipe is blocked. In such a case, the concentration of the fuel-air mixture to the engine can vary, causing the idle rpm control to fail to function properly while the air conditioner is on or exceeding the low exhaust emissions vehicle designation standards.
