The following factory approved replacements should be taken depending on the engine type. (1) For the 8M2 type engine, the exhaust pipe should be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit, and the supporting bracket should be additionally installed to secure the exhaust pipe. (2) For the 8DC type engine, the exhaust pipe and the muffler should be replaced with the factory approved replacement units. Incidentally, it will take time to supply all the factory approved replacement units, and therefore as a temporary measure, the exhaust pipe should be checked for cracks, and if there is any abnormality, the replacement should be carried out, and otherwise it should be done at a later date.
