On certain vehicles, the diaphragm in the hydraulic brake booster accumulator lacks durability due to inadequate manufacturing process. If left unfixed, nitrogen gas in the accumulator may leak, and this could cause the followings as well as abnormal noise (relief valve sound) during braking; (1) delayed braking effect in case of sudden braking, (2) the need for more foot pressure on the brake when starting braking immediately after engine start.
