For compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles, the catalyst on the muffler may loosen depending on the vehicle usage, as it is not secured in a proper way. If this problem is left unattended, the catalyst may interfere with the internal wall of the muffler, making abnormal noise, and in the worst case, the catalyst could be damaged, which might cause the exhaust gas to exceed the exhaust gas guideline set for CNG vehicles.
