On certain large and medium sized trucks with manual cab tilt system, the rebound cushion, which is a part of the position detection mechanism for the cab lock, may become adhered to the hook hinge clamp due to improper material, and in which case, it may occur that despite the lock being not engaged the position detection switch for the cab lock is not activated and the cab lock warning light does not illuminate. Note: This problem was reported in KJ-0261-0, submitted on 1st September 2004, but the vehicles to be recalled were not correctly accounted for, so this recall is to add some vehicles to the recall list.
