The clip securing the manual transmission control cable on the frame does not have sufficient strength, and it may break from repeatedly operating the manual transmission. If a part of the broken clip interferes with the electrical wiring for the alternator, the wiring sheath may be damaged causing a short circuit, which could, in the worst case, lead to a fire.
