If the vehicle continues to be driven after an engine overheat, the reservoir tank of the cooling system may expand under steam pressure inside and squash the overflow pipe against the mad guard. If the pipe is occluded, in the worst case, the tank cap may dislodge allowing cooling water to flow out.

It is possible that the radiator cap on the engine is damaged during the vehicle maintenance etc. If the vehicle is driven with the damaged radiator cap, a small amount of coolant may leak as the cap loses some sealing efficiency.

On certain vehicles, the brake pipe in the driver's foot area is not properly routed, and it may interfere with the parking brake lever. If this problem is left unattended, the brake pipe may be damaged allowing brake fluid to leak, which could result in reduced braking efficiency.

The clip securing the manual transmission control cable on the frame does not have sufficient strength, and it may break from repeatedly operating the manual transmission. If a part of the broken clip interferes with the electrical wiring for the alternator, the wiring sheath may be damaged causing a short circuit, which could, in the worst case, lead to a fire.
