RJ-0629-1

For the vacuum brake booster, engine combustion products may get accumulated inside the booster pipe, due to the improper position of the port (brake nipple) located on the intake manifold. If left unfixed, in the worst case, damping force decreases when a brake pedal is operated repeatedly in a short time period.

Case Number:
RJ-0629-1

Make/model:

Issued:
Tue, 2000-05-23
Component:
vacuum brake booster
Affected:
159 739
Correction:
The vacuum hose for the vacuum brake booster should be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit.
