On certain vehicles, the automatic tensioner that maintains tension of the engine timing belt does not have sufficient vibration-absorbing power. If left unfixed, the external spring of the automatic tensioner may break causing the timing belt to slack, and in the worst case, the engine could stall.

Correction: 
The shape of the automatic tensioner should be checked, and if it is the one to be recalled, the automatic tensioner should be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit.
