On certain vehicles, the caulking of the metallic retention part of the ball joint that connects the lower arm of the front wheel shock absorber and the knuckle is insufficient. If left unfixed, the retention part may get damaged, and in the worst case, the ball joint could come off the arm causing the vehicle to stall.

Correction: 
Both the left and right upper ball joint should be inspected, and the one whose retention part is not properly caulked should be replaced with a non-defective one.
