For the engine starter solenoid switch, on certain vehicles, the electric terminal connecting to the battery is not properly installed. If left unfixed, the resin bush for insulation can deteriorate and crack. In such a condition of the terminal, if water containing salt etc. lands on it, a short circuit can occur, and in the worst case, the solenoid switch burns out, which could lead to a fire in the engine compartment.
