The top panel of the fuel tank becomes deformed when pressure inside the tank changes, because it lacks strength. If left unfixed, a crack may occur on the deformed part of the panel. At worst, fuel leakage occurs when the tank is full.

Correction: 
The fuel tank should be inspected. If a crack is found, the tank should be replaced with the revised one, otherwise, the reinforcing plates should be fitted to the top of the tank.
