For active stability control system(ASC) hydraulic power unit, on certain vehicles, the diaphragm inside the gas charged accumulator lacks durability. If left unfixed, the gas in the accumulator may mix into the brake fluid, which can result in a spongy feeling brake pedal. At worst, damping force decreases.
