For welfare vehicles whose floor is modified to accommodate a wheelchair, vehicle body vibration may cause interference between the left brake bracket and the lateral rod due to improper shape of the bracket. At worst, the joint between the brake hose and the brake tube becomes deformed, and brake fluid leaks, resulting in reduced brake efficiency.

Correction:
The brake hose bracket should be inspected, and if any abnormality is found, the bracket should be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit and both the brake hose and tube should be replaced with new ones. Incidentally, the lateral rod and the floor reinforcing should be replaced with the improved items.
