The maintenance hole on the back of the low beam light is in the wrong size, and on certain vehicles, air-tightness is not achieved because the seal was displaced at the time of the maintenance lid installation. Water can reach the circuit board, and in the worst case, a short circuit could occur causing the light to fail.

The maintenance lids and the seals should be replaced with the factory approved replacement units.
