Because the method of manufacturing the seal section of the fuel pump relay case was not appropriate, a sealing agent might have been deposited and anchored on the electrical wiring. If this problem is left unattended, the wiring may break due to thermal change in the relay, in which case the fuel pump could stop and cause the engine to stall and fail to restart.

For vehicles with HID (High Intensity Discharge) headlights, the joint between the headlight lens and the housing does not have an appropriate structure, and therefore, the bonnet rubber seal may push the lens, and this may cause the sealing material between the lens and the housing to partially peel off. If this occurs, water may enter the inside of the headlight, and in the worst case, water could enter the inside of the control unit and cause a short circuit, in which case the headlight will fail.

The outer measurement of the fuel pump impeller is too large, and therefore, the impeller may interfere with the impeller case, because it swells by absorbing fuel and as the fuel temperature rises. If this problem is left unattended, the fuel discharge could decrease, in which case the engine would stop and would not restart, or the impeller could stop rotating, in which case the engine would not start.
