For vehicles with HID (High Intensity Discharge) headlights, the joint between the headlight lens and the housing does not have an appropriate structure, and therefore, the bonnet rubber seal may push the lens, and this may cause the sealing material between the lens and the housing to partially peel off. If this occurs, water may enter the inside of the headlight, and in the worst case, water could enter the inside of the control unit and cause a short circuit, in which case the headlight will fail. Note: This problem was mentioned in RJ-1212-1 submitted on 7th September 2004, but the corrective actions were not sufficient and the vehicles to be recalled were not correctly accounted for, so this recall is to rectify the corrective actions and the recall list.
