For vehicles with independent front suspension, the water prevention measures of the bearing inside the front wheel hub are improper. As a result, mud water may get into bearing, causing rust and/or wear, and this may create vibration and make abnormal noises. If left unfixed, in the worst case, the bearing gets damaged, and travel stability becomes impaired.

Correction: 
A cover should be installed for each hub to reduce water getting to the bearing, and the oil seal should be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit. Also, if water is found to have been inside the bearing, it should be replaced with a new one. For 4WD vehicles, the knuckles should be replaced with the factory approved replacement units in order to install the cover.
