On certain vehicles, the front hub bearing seals are not installed in the exactly correct position, and therefore they may lose some sealing efficiency when a load is put on the bearings while driving, in which case water can enter inside the bearings causing abnormal noise. If the vehicle continues to be driven in such a condition, the bearings could be damaged, adversely affecting the vehicle's stability.
