For diesel engine vehicles with automatic transmission, the bracket securing the alternator does not have sufficient strength, and therefore it may crack from engine vibration, and at worst the alternator could fall off in the engine compartment. If this worst case occurs, the charging function will be lost, and the engine will stop and will not restart.
