For 6x2 (2 rear axles) vehicles, the bracket securing the spring type parking brake on the rear axle does not have sufficient strength, and it may crack due to vibration during travel. If left unfixed, the bracket may break resulting in reduced parking brake efficiency. At worst, the brake chamber falls off stopping the rear axle parking brake functioning, or the air hose gets damaged causing air leakage.

Correction:
The rear axle housing should be replaced with the one that includes the factory approved replacement brackets for the spring type parking brakes. Incidentally, it will take time to supply the factory approved replacement parts, so as a temporary measure the bracket should be inspected for crack, and the one with crack should be repaired by welding.
