For vehicles with spring type parking brake, water may get into the inside of the brake chamber or the wheel cylinder due to inadequate application of sealant on the joint between them. If left unfixed, the inside of the wheel cylinder and the wedge could get damaged due to corrosion, or the parking brake may fail to function because the water gets frozen in winter.

Correction: 
Both of the brake chamber assembly and the wheel cylinder assembly should be replaced with the factory approved replacement units. Incidentally, it will take time to supply all the factory approved replacement parts, so as a temporary measure the parking brake function should be checked, and if it does not function properly, the replacement with the factory approved replacement units should be done, otherwise, the replacement should be done at later date.
Identification: 
(1) Gold sticker with a diameter of 9mm on the specified spot(*), for installing the factory approved replacement parts. (2) Silver sticker with a diameter of 9mm on the specified spot(*), for the brake inspection only. *: For buses, on the upper right corner on the back of the inspection lid located at the right rear of the vehicle body. For trucks, below the striker on the driver's door rear pillar.
