For vehicles with rear disc brakes and single tyres, the water prevention measures of the bearings inside the rear wheel hubs are improper, and therefore, water can enter into the bearings, causing rust and wear. If this problem is left unattended, vibration and abnormal noise may be generated, and in the worst case, the bearings could be damaged, which could cause the vehicle to stall.

Correction:
The hub oil seals of the bearings inside the rear wheel hubs should be replaced with the factory approved replacement units, and the covers to prevent water from entering into the bearings should be additionally installed. Also, if water appears to have entered the inside of the bearings, the bearings should be replaced with new ones.
