RJ-1417-0

The socket of the switching valve for the parking brake air hose is not at the right angle, and therefore, the hose may interfere with the rear brake air hoses when the vehicle bounces. If this problem is left unattended, in the worst case, the hoses may be punctured, allowing air to leak, in which case braking efficiency could be reduced or it could become impossible to release the parking brake. Note: This recall is to revise the past recall (case number RJ-1110-0, submitted on 15 June 2004) and to include more vehicles because the countermeasure in the past recall was not sufficient.
