The connector of the electrical wiring that is connected to the hydraulic unit is of a wrong type, and it may allow water to enter into the hydraulic unit. If this problem is left unattended, the inside of the hydraulic unit may corrode and electrical continuity may be lost, and at worst, the unit could malfunction, in which case braking force might still be applied, even when the brake pedal is back to its original position.
