For the tie-rod end ball joints of small size buses with front axle suspensions, the sealing structure of the dust boots is not appropriate, and therefore, muddy water etc. can seep into the ball joints and cause the resin bearings to wear, in which case the bearings may start to rattle. If this problem is left unattended, the rattle may increase, and in the worst case, the ball joint could come off the tie-rod, which could cause the vehicle to stall.

The 'Children on Board' stickers that indicate the passengers on the bus are children may be missing.

RJ-1816-0

For the electric circuit of the ABS warning light, which illuminates and stays on when there is a malfunction in the ABS, the wiring is incorrect due to inadequate instructions on designing the circuit. As a result of this, the warning light will not illuminate when the power supply stops.

RJ-1665-0

The ball joint of the second shift rod of the transmission does not have sufficient strength, and therefore, it may develop a crack. If this problem is left unattended, the ball joint may break, and this will make it impossible to change the gear and in the worst case would cause the vehicle to stall.

RJ-1646-0

The parking brake cable end at the centre brake side (the metallic fitting that is fitted at the end of the cable and is to secure the cable on the centre brake lever) can be caught askew at the centre brake lever slit due to improper shape. If this problem left unattended, the end of the cable may bend and break from fatigue, and in the worst case, it could become impossible to obtain effective stopping power when parking.

For small buses, the label that shows the initial tilting angle of the headlights, which is required by the safety standard, may be missing, because it was not placed at factory.

RJ-1604-2

The lock on the hinged double doors at the back of the vehicle may not fully engage when the doors are slowly closed, because the force of the spring that pushes the lock towards the catch is not sufficient, and also because the resilience force of the weatherstrip is not adequate. If left unfixed, in the worst case, vibration during driving etc. can cause the lock to disengage, in which case the doors could open.

RJ-1604-1

The lock on the emergency exit door at the back of the vehicle may not fully engage when the door is slowly closed, because the force of the spring that pushes the lock towards the catch is not sufficient, and also because the resilience force of the weatherstrip is not adequate. If left unfixed, in the worst case, vibration during driving etc. can cause the lock to disengage, in which case the door could open.

RJ-1512-0

The connector of the electrical wiring that is connected to the hydraulic unit is of a wrong type, and it may allow water to enter into the hydraulic unit. If this problem is left unattended, the inside of the hydraulic unit may corrode and electrical continuity may be lost, and at worst, the unit could malfunction, in which case braking force might still be applied, even when the brake pedal is back to its original position.

RJ-1472-0

The bolts for the brackets securing the shift rod and the select rod in the transmission may be loose due to insufficient tightening. If this problem is left unattended, the bolts may come off, and in the worst case, it would become impossible to change gear.
