For the hydraulic booster, the structure of connecting the valve and piston inside the booster cylinder is not appropriate, and therefore, the valve and piston may come apart under the liquid pressure created at the time of pressing the brake pedal. If this occurs, braking force might still be applied, even when the brake pedal is back to its original position.
