For compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles, the electrical wiring to the starter does not have sufficient heat resistance, and therefore, there is a risk that a part of the wiring sheath will be gone due to the heat from the exhaust pipe, causing the core to be exposed. If this occurs, in the worst case, it may lead to a short circuit, in which case the engine would stop and would not restart.

Correction: 
The heat shield plate should be additionally installed to the exhaust pipe, and the terminal cap for the battery cable should be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit. In addition, the heat shield sheath should be added to the electrical wiring (if adding the heat shield sheath is difficult, the electrical wiring should be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit). Also, if the electrical wiring is damaged, it should be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit.
