The cage of the needle roller bearing that supports the third gear in the transmission does not have sufficient strength, and therefore, it may deform or break from the load by the third gear. If this problem is left unattended, the gear shift may malfunction and make abnormal noises, and in the worst case, the bearing could burn out, which would cause the vehicle to stall. Note: This problem was reported in RJ-1277-0, submitted on 20th October 2004, but the vehicles to be recalled were not correctly accounted for, so this recall is add some vehicles to the recall list.
