RJ-1639-0

When the cabin is raised, the parking brake cable may be caught on the metal fitting that is to prevent interference between the cable and the transmission control rod, due to improper shape of the fitting. If the cabin is lowered in such a condition of the metal fitting, the cable may separate from the bracket located inside the cabin, which would cause the parking brake not to work. Note: This problem was reported in RJ-1360-0, submitted on 17th February 2005, but the vehicles to be recalled were not correctly accounted for, so this recall is to add some vehicles to the recall list.
