For the bolt that connects the shift control lever and the transmission control cable, it may not have sufficient strength due to imperfect manufacturing process, so it may crack. If this problem is left unattended, the attachment position of the cable may shift, which could cause discrepancy between the displayed shift lever position and the actual shift lever position. If this occurs, in the worst case, the bolt could break, in which case the cable could come off and the vehicle would stall.
