The magnetic clutch surfaces of the air conditioner compressor may not be large enough, and therefore, if the compressor belt is adjusted too tight and the engine is continuously run at high revolutions, the clutch may overheat, which could, in the worst case, lead to a fire.

Correction: 
The magnetic clutch should be inspected, and if it is determined to be the subject of this recall, it should be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit. Incidentally, it is likely to take time to supply all the necessary factory approved replacement items, and therefore as a temporary measure, users should be advised to refrain from using the air conditioner.
