The clutch inside the pulley of the alternator may not be adequately sealed, and therefore, the lubricant inside the clutch may leak and cause the clutch to break, which could generate abnormal noise. If this problem is left unattended, in the worst case, the pulley would fall off.

Correction: 
The manufacture of the alternator should be checked, and if the alternator is the subject of this recall, it should be replaced with the factory approved replacement unit.
