For vehicles with independent front wheel suspensions, the stabilizer brackets do not have sufficient strength, and therefore, numerous turning maneuvers with a high centre of gravity can cause the brackets to crack. If this problem is left unattended, the cracks may progress to the point of fracture and damage the brake hoses, in which case brake fluid could leak and stopping distances may be increased.
